Here you see a photo of the dining chairs arranged against a window wall.
In reality, these chairs
are larger than they look here. (The windows start near the floor.)
The height of the chair backs can be made to your specifications;
likewise the height from the floor to the seat can be made to order.
Here you see a photo of the dining chairs arranged around one of our
octagonal tables. It might not be obvious in this photo, but these
are in the "High Contrast" style.
The color of the chair backs, too, can be adjusted to your specifications;
usually by staining or flame darkening.
A good way to place your chairs next to our rectangular table. Here you see
an obvious benefit of log furniture: you can carry it out to your porch when the
weather is nice. With the proper finishes, Amish Barkwood log furniture
is very durable when kept outdoors. You can select and apply weatherproof
stains and finishes yourself if you buy the chairs unfinished. Of course,
for a small extra cost, you can have us apply the special stains and finish coats
before we deliver the furniture to you.

A closeup look at a chair as it appears next to our rectangular table.
The sanding powder has not yet been removed from the table or
from the chair; this is why they look whiter than the finished pieces
shown in the photos further above. Likewise, the next two photos
below show unfinished tables and chairs, too.
Even in this photo of an unfinished table and chairs taken in the workshop, you can
see that the backs of our log chairs are beautiful, too. Arranging
furniture is so much easier when you do not need to hide the backside of the pieces!
The picture above was taken inside one the Amish workshops before any sanding sealer,
stain, or clear coat was applied. You might enjoy buying our log furniture this way,
since you can then stain and clear coat to get the colors that you like best.

Delivery can be made anywhere in the 48 contiguous states,
into much of Canada, and maybe into Mexico, too. We can often deliver and setup your furniture ourselves within a distance of 200 miles from our shops in southern Wisconsin. We make special arrangements with Bekins Van Lines for delivery, including help with carrying the furniture into your home or office. NOTE: You or someone representing you must be present to inspect and receive (sign for) the furniture upon delivery! Therefore, Bekins will call you to make a delivery appointment. If you can not honor the appointment, you must re-schedule delivery for a time when you can be present. Call, write, or send an email to get the exact shipping charge. Shipping costs vary with the price of fuel, so you must request an up-to-date shipping quote before you mail your payment! NEW: Federal Express ground service is cheaper and faster than the Bekins rates that we show in our shipping tables! With FEDEX, every delivery of log furniture is unique and must be quoted exactly according to the items wanted. |
