That's right, we are always glad to receive your personal or business checks.  We do not accept direct payment by credit card.  You do not (and can not) send us payment online.  Payment safety is assured the old fashioned way -- you write a check, and we ship when your check proves to be good.  Or if you want the extra safety of a COD (Cash On Delivery) purchase, just have a cashier's check or money order waiting for when the truck arrives with your furniture.

DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LARGE ORDERS:

        3 %  if order exceeds  $ 1000
        6 %  if order exceeds  $ 3000
        9 %  if order exceeds  $ 6000
       12 %  if order exceeds  $ 9000


The discounts are applied against the total amount purchased on the same order, not just on the incremental differences!  For example, on an order of just over $ 6000, the discount will be slightly more than $ 540.   But if you buy another $ 3000 on the same order, the discount jumps to more than $ 1080 since the higher percentage applies to the entire purchase!  Therefore it really pays to order all the pieces at once that you need to achieve the entire look and atmosphere that you want in your home.


Sales taxes apply within Wisconsin.
When we deliver to a Wisconsin address, we collect state (and sometimes county or special district) sales taxes.
We are legally obligated to charge and collect sales taxes under certain circumstances.  This happens if:

1)  You want to pick up the furniture yourself.  That is considered a local sale, therefore a tax of five and one half percent (5.5%) will be applied.

2)  We ship to an address within Wisconsin.  Then we will charge at least five percent (5%) state sales tax, and if your destination is within a county that charges county sales tax, at least another one half percent (0.5%) will be applied.

3)  If your destination address is within a jurisdiction that has been granted special authority to charge a local fee (such as the stadium taxes), then we will add whatever is the appropriate amount according to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue requirements.

As of now, we do not collect "Internet Taxes".
And we hope that we are never required to!  You can help prevent taxation over the Internet by letting your state politicians, your US Senators, and your Representative to Congresss know that you do not want it, either!  Please send them a letter or email telling them what you think. 		Large custom orders need a down payment.
One third down is required before we begin making special items.
If you would like furniture to be built exactly to your own designs or specifications, you will have to provide a non-refundable down payment of one third the total price before our Amish craftsmen can begin the work.  If you fail to provide the rest of the money as per the regular methods, unless there are extra-ordinary circumstances as to why you failed to pay the rest, your down payment will be forfeited, that is, it will be kept as partial compensation by our Amish craftsmen.  We will then try to sell the custom furniture for whatever we can get for it.  Any amount collected in excess of the original price quoted to you will be refunded to you, less the extra expenses caused by these extra efforts.

Custom orders qualify for the volume discounts described in the top section of this page.
Your home can reflect your own unique values if you fill it with furniture built to your own style preferences.  When you do order enough to achieve your own style, you will get the same discounts that are offered for standard styles.  Enjoy the designs, sizes, stains, and finishes of your liking.  Since all of our furniture is made by hand, it is not that difficult for our craftsmen to build from a drawing of a special design of your own creation.

We can also prepare special sets for you, saving you a bundle on the bundle!  Of course, we can provide written quotes for you when you request them.



We guarantee that every one of our traditional and rustic log or wooden furniture pieces is unique and made by hand!
